Lessons
Miss Dru’s Swimming consists of a 2-week course, Monday - Friday, for one hour each day totaling 10 lessons. Students attend lessons at the same time each day. Students will be grouped in classes based on need and ability.
Classes meet regardless of weather. In the event of inclement weather, safety lessons will be taught in indoor facilities.
No flotation devices are used.
Students should come to lessons in swimsuits and ready to swim! A towel and change of clothing are also appropriate for lessons. Dressing rooms are available for student use after each lesson.
Parking is available in the gravel lot before the driveway and in the cul-de-sac. Please take care in not blocking driveways.
Parents are encouraged to stay out of sight during lessons. There are several “hiding spots” around the pool so that parents may still watch lessons.
Classes are offered for children 3 years old and up. Classes typically consist of 12-15 students along with 4-6 instructors, depending on the ages of the students in the class.
Graduation Day (Party Day!) is celebrated on the last day of swim lessons. Parents and friends are invited and encouraged to attend during the student‘s class time. Each child will receive a certificate for attendance.
We offer 10 levels of Miss Dru‘s Badges—requirements for levels are achieved by meeting specified skills.
Safety is our #1 goal. We want every child to know how to get out of the water if they fall into a pool and how to safely handle themselves around others in and around all bodies of water.
The cost for lessons is $170 per child for each session. A $100 deposit is required to reserve placement in class. The remaining balance of $70 is due on the first day of lessons. Please make checks payable to Katie or to Cash.
We also offer classes for adults! Adult classes are offered for men and women of all ages. We require 8 people to start an adult class. Adult classes are for 4 days—1 ½ hours each class. Cost per adult is $155 for the four days.

Reservations may be made beginning May 1. Call (864) 456-7778 or use our contact page to sign up! Leave your name, your child’s name and age, the preferred session, and a phone number we can reach you day or night. If you do not receive a return call or email within 3 days, please email or call us again. Please do not depend on Miss Katie returning social media messages. She often does not see them in a timely manner. We don't want anyone to be overlooked!
